Want to play with me?"
Timmy was a little scared because he had never been asked to play before by another creature. But Lenny seemed so kind, that Timmy decided to agree. They spent the rest of the day swimming in the ocean, and Timmy had so much happiness. He learned that being brave could be really wonderful.
From then on, Timmy and Lenny were inseparable buddies. They made many memories together, and Timmy was no longer timid. He had found a true friend in Lenny.

Oliver Owl Learns to Be Kind
Once upon a time, there was a little owl named Oliver. They lived in a big, peaceful forest. Oliver was a very shy owl, and he often felt different from the other animals.
One day, Oliver saw a little squirrel leaping to climb a tall tree. The squirrel looked tired, and Oliver needed to help. Slowly, quietly, Oliver reached the squirrel a little push.
The squirrel was so happy that it gave Oliver a bright berry as a thank you. Oliver realized that being kind made him feel good and from that day on, he always tried to be helpful to all the animals in the forest.
Penny Pig Makes a New Pal
Penny Pig was feeling lonely. She wanted a friend to play with. One day, while exploring, Penny came across/found/spotted a little squirrel hiding in the flowers. The little creature was shy.
Penny gently approached the beastie and said/asked/spoke in a friendly voice, "Howdy". The little bunny looked up at Penny with bright eyes.
